According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2025, among the Africa countries in 2015, Nigeria ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $486.8 billion; South Africa ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $346.71 billion; Egypt ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $329.37 billion; Algeria ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $165.98 billion; and Morocco, with a total economy of $101.18 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
