According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2025, among the Africa countries in 2014, Nigeria ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $546.68 billion; South Africa ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $381.2 billion; Egypt ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $305.6 billion; Algeria ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $213.81 billion; and Angola, with a total economy of $137.24 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
