According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the Africa countries in 2012, Nigeria ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $455.5 billion; South Africa ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $434.4 billion; Egypt ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $279.12 billion; Algeria ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $209.06 billion; and Angola, with a total economy of $125 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
