GDP ranking of Africa countries in 2008

According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the Africa countries in 2008, Nigeria ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $339.48 billion; South Africa ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $316.13 billion; Algeria ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $171 billion; Egypt ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $162.82 billion; and Morocco, with a total economy of $92.51 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
