GDP ranking of Africa countries in 1990

According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the Africa countries in 1990, South Africa ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $126.05 billion; Algeria ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $62.05 billion; Nigeria ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $54.04 billion; Egypt ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $42.98 billion; and Sudan, with a total economy of $33.64 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
