According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the Africa countries in 1983, Nigeria ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $97.1 billion; South Africa ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $96.2 billion; Algeria ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $48.8 billion; Egypt ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $30.97 billion; and Morocco, with a total economy of $16.25 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
