According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the Africa countries in 1982, Nigeria ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $142.77 billion; South Africa ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $85.9 billion; Algeria ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $45.21 billion; Egypt ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $27.66 billion; and Morocco, with a total economy of $17.69 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
