According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the Africa countries in 1981, Nigeria ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $164.48 billion; South Africa ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $93.14 billion; Algeria ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $44.35 billion; Egypt ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $22.14 billion; and Morocco, with a total economy of $17.79 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
