GDP ranking of Africa countries in 1965

According to the latest statistics released by the World Bank in 2024, among the Africa countries in 1965, South Africa ranked first in terms of gross domestic product(GDP), with a total economic volume of $13.07 billion; Nigeria ranked second in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $5.87 billion; Egypt ranked third in terms of GDP, with a total economic volume of $4.95 billion; Democratic Republic of the Congo ranked fourth in terms of GDP, with a total economy of $4.04 billion; and Algeria, with a total economy of $3.14 billion, ranked fifth in GDP.
