According to the latest statistical information released by Pingdingshan Bureau of statistics in 2024, in 2013, the GDP of Ruzhou City was $5.4 billion, that of Baofeng County was $3.8 billion, that of Xinhua District was $3.14 billion, that of Yexian County was $3.05 billion, and that of Jiaxian County was $2.18 billion.
