According to the latest statistical information released by Xinyang Bureau of statistics in 2024, in 2018, the GDP of Gushi County was $5.41 billion, that of Shihe District was $4.85 billion, that of Huangchuan County was $4.14 billion, that of Xixian County was $3.47 billion, and that of Shangcheng County was $3.07 billion.
