According to the latest statistical information released by Xinyang Bureau of statistics in 2024, in 2017, the GDP of Gushi County was $4.85 billion, that of Shihe District was $4.29 billion, that of Huangchuan County was $3.63 billion, that of Shangcheng County was $2.74 billion, and that of Huaibin County was $2.5 billion.
