According to the latest statistical information released by Jiangmen Bureau of statistics in 2025, in 1996, the GDP of Jiangmen Municipal District was $1.35 billion, that of Xinhui District was $0.87 billion, that of Kaiping City was $0.82 billion, that of Taishan City was $0.81 billion, and that of Heshan City was $0.54 billion.
