According to the latest statistical information released by Jinzhong Bureau of statistics in 2024, in 2012, the GDP of Yuci District was $3.26 billion, that of Lingshi County was $2.86 billion, that of Jiexiu City was $2.48 billion, that of Shouyang County was $1.82 billion, and that of Pingyao County was $1.52 billion.
