According to the latest statistical information released by Nantong Bureau of statistics in 2024, in 2009, the GDP of Tongzhou District was $6.55 billion, that of Haimen District was $6.28 billion, that of Qidong City was $5.44 billion, that of Rugao City was $5.37 billion, and that of Chongchuan District was $4.61 billion.
