According to the latest statistical information released by Nantong Bureau of statistics in 2024, in 2008, the GDP of Tongzhou District was $5.77 billion, that of Haimen District was $5.54 billion, that of Qidong City was $4.81 billion, that of Rugao City was $4.74 billion, and that of Chongchuan District was $4.15 billion.
