According to the latest statistical information released by Nantong Bureau of statistics in 2024, in 2005, the GDP of Tongzhou District was $2.76 billion, that of Haimen District was $2.64 billion, that of Qidong City was $2.48 billion, that of Rugao City was $1.93 billion, and that of Hai'an City was $1.88 billion.
