According to the latest statistical information released by Nantong Bureau of statistics in 2024, in 2004, the GDP of Tongzhou District was $2.23 billion, that of Haimen District was $2.12 billion, that of Qidong City was $1.97 billion, that of Rugao City was $1.56 billion, and that of Hai'an City was $1.53 billion.
