According to the latest statistical information released by Dalian Bureau of statistics in 2025, in 2008, the GDP of Wafangdian City was $6.03 billion, that of Jinzhou District was $5.99 billion, that of Ganjingzi district was $5.54 billion, that of Pulandian District was $4.66 billion, and that of Zhuanghe City was $4.41 billion.
