According to the latest statistical information released by Huaihua Bureau of statistics in 2024, in 2011, the GDP of Hecheng District was $2.85 billion, that of Yuanling County was $1.91 billion, that of Xupu County was $1.41 billion, that of Chenxi County was $1.05 billion, and that of Hongjiang City was $1 billion.
