According to the latest statistical information released by Xiangtan Bureau of statistics in 2024, in 2012, the GDP of Yuhu District was $6.36 billion, that of Yuetang District was $6.34 billion, that of Xiangxiang was $3.81 billion, that of Xiangtan County was $3.73 billion, and that of Shaoshan City was $0.81 billion.
