According to the latest statistical information released by Xiangtan Bureau of statistics in 2024, in 2011, the GDP of Yuetang District was $6.15 billion, that of Yuhu District was $4.83 billion, that of Xiangxiang was $3.24 billion, that of Xiangtan County was $3.13 billion, and that of Shaoshan City was $0.63 billion.
